Kingston has introduced the successor to its DataTraveler 300 USB flash drive series with the announcement of the DataTraveler 310. Coming in 256GB capacity, the drive is able to provide read and write speeds of up to 25MB/s and 12MB/s, respectively. In addition, it also comes with SecureTraveler software allowing users to create and access a password-protected area up to 90 percent of the total capacity. The DataTraveler 310 will be sold for $1,108, however, there’s no word on release date yet. [Electronista]
