LaCie has released the first 1U rack-mounted NAS that offers a huge 6TB of storage space. The new NAS is being targeted toward small and medium-sized businesses. The company also announced that the LaCie 6TB 1U is first Apple Time Machine-compatible professional NAS on the market and will be accompanied by both Genie and Intego Backup Manager Pro to schedule file backup and computer recovery. Available in 2TB, 4TB, and 6TB, the LaCie 6TB 1U is priced at $759.99 upwards with a 3-year warranty. [Ubergizmo]
