The LaCie hard drives are designed by Porsche Design GmbH and come in 160GB to 500GB capacity. These hard drives connect via USB 2.0 or Firewire to your PC and work well with Windows, Mac and Linux operating system. Although not much to look at, which is surprising since it’s designed by Porsche, it does ship with 1-Click backup software for PCs and Macs. The USB versions are US$10 to US$30 cheaper than the Firewire versions. The 160GB version sells for US$99, while the 250GB version is US$129, 320GB is US$159, and the 500GB is US$249.
