Looks like Amazon will release a larger version of its Kindle e-book reader very soon. The new Kindle will be specially designed to display newspapers, magazines, and textbooks. News organizations, such as the New York Times among others, are expected to be involved in the introduction of the device. Not sure I’d want to carry this around but it would make a nice coffee buddy in the morning. [boingboing]
