LeEco (formerly LeTV) has unveiled a new 4G LTE-enabled Android 5.1 smartphone ‘Le Max’ for the Indian market. Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor, this high-end smartphone boasts a 6.33-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, an Adreno 430 GPU, a 4GB DDR4 RAM and a 64GB/128GB of internal storage.
Measuring 8.95mm thick and weighing 204 grams, the handset comes complete with a 4MP front-facing camera with OmniVision OV4688 sensor, a 21MP rear-facing camera with Sony IMX230 sensor and dual-tone LED flash, dual SIM card slots, a fingerprint sensor on the back, a USB Type-C port and a 3400mAh battery.
Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the Le Max provides 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 with APT-X, GPS and NFC for connectivity. The LeEco Le Max will be available soon in India for INR 32,999 (about $485) for the 64GB model. [GSMArena]
