Leica has unveiled another mirrorless system camera to its range, the Leica SL (Typ 601). Aimed to take the top spot of modern imaging technology, this interchangeable lens camera boasts a 24MP Full-Frame CMOS sensor, a 0.66″ 4.4MP 0.8x electronic viewfinder, a 2.95″ 1.04M-dot LED-backlit touchscreen monitor, a 1.3″ top LCD screen, dual SD card slots and built-in WiFi & GPS connectivity.
Powered by Leica Maestro II image processor, the Leica SL (Typ 601) can record DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) video at 24fps, UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) video at 30fps or 25fps, or 1080p/720p video at up to 120fps.
