LG Electronics and NEtFlix today unveiled the new Blu-Ray disc player that is able to stream movies and TV episodes from Netflix directly to the TV. The player plays high definition Blu-ray discs and able to upscale DVDs to 1080p resolution. In addition, the new LG BD300 also adopts LG’s SimpLink technology, which allows users to control similarly equipped LG TV and AV products via on-screen menus. It will be available in the next fall season. [Akihabara]
