LG Launches Two Wireless HDTVs

LG has announced two new wireless HDTVs for the mass market. The LG 55LHX and the LH85 use a media box to transmit uncompressed full 1080p signals with “virtually” no interference directly to the TV. The TV can receive wireless signals from up to 30 feet away. The 55LHX comes equipped with LED backlighting and a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio with 240Hz refresh rate, meanwhile, the LH85 provides an 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The 55LHX will retail for $4799 and the LH85 series will cost for $3,199 for a 55-inch and $2,399 for a 47-inch. [LG]
