Korean manufacturer LG has started to produce the 17.1 inch LCD panels for notebooks that adopts RGB LED backlight technology. The screen uses LED as its backlight to achieve a color reproduction rate of up to 105%, which has 40% more colors and 30% better contrast ratio compared to standard CCFL models.
