LG’s new 47 inch Xcanvas David LED (47LG90QD) has been released for the Korean market. This HDTV boasts a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The new Xcanvas David LED adopts Aurora LED backlight with eyeQgreen function that enhance the brightness and video quality and reduce the power consumption by 70%. These new Xcanvas wireless LED TV’s are really neat, you can buy them locally here in Korea at Home-Plus for about $3250.00 (current exchange rate is 1230); they are super light weight (about 15 Lbs) and are really thin (3/4 inch). I think I will wait till next year to buy one, by then they will be antiques and I should be able to get one at half price.
