The EX-10 (1 HDD slots), EX-20 (2 HHD slots), EX-30 (3 HHD slots) and the EX-50 (5 HHD slots) feature a front-loading door with individual handles on a bracket for each HDD, and a back panel PCB with a RAID controller from Silicon Image. These HDD racks also adopt Sil5744 chipset that offers plug and play capability with many of the RAID settings required today. There is a fan for each unit to keep the hard drive chilled.
