Some researchers at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine has managed to develop LifeShirt. It is new device to monitor patients with bipolar affective disorder and schizophrenia. Manufactured by VivoMetrics, the LifeShirt “monitors hyperactive and repetitive movements, and collects data on respiration, heart rate and other physiological measures.” Stay tuned for more updates!
