Here’s the latest member to Lite-On’s external optical drive series, the eTAU108 DVD writer. Weighing under 350 grams, the drive features a USB connection interface and provides write speeds of up to 8x for DVD-R/+R and DVD+RW, 6x for DVD-R/+R DL, 5x for DVD-RAM and 24x for CD-R/RW. Available in two color options: pearl white or piano black finish, the eTAU108 will go on sale starting next month for about 45 Euro ($63). [TCMagazine]
