Several of their higher-end models -already are- driverless UVC - USB Video Class compliant and work fine on Apple’s OS X: See http://www.mac-compatible-web-cam.com/ for select UVC cams currently shipping - from not only Logitech, but Creative Labs and others. It’s good to see Logitech finally addressing the Mac webcam market. But until proven otherwise, this is just an updated 9000 Pro with slight cometic changes and new Apple Macintosh specific packaging that will ship later in July.
