Meizu has unveiled another one of its upcoming 4G LTE-enabled Android 6.0 smartphone, the M3X. Adopting a glass back with ceramic crystal coating that dazzles when the light is reflected, this mid-range smartphone has a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD Sharp TDDI LCD 2.5D curved glass display, a 2.30GHz MediaTek Helio P20 64-bit octa-core processor, a Mali-T880 GPU and a 3GB RAM w/ 32GB of internal storage or 4GB RAM w/ 64GB of internal storage.
Featuring dual SIM card slots, the handset sports a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 12MP rear-facing camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lenses, PDAF, dual-tone LED flash and 4K video recording, a fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C port and a 3200mAh battery with fast charging.
Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Flyme OS on top, the M3X provides 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS for connectivity. The Meizu will go on sale in China from December 8th for 1,699 Yuan (about $247) for the 3GB RAM w/ 32GB storage version and 1,999 Yuan (about $290) for the 4GB RAM w/ 64GB storage version, respectively.
