Micromax has announced a new 4G LTE-enabled Android 6.0 smartphone to its line-up, the Dual 5. Adopting a unibody metal design, this mid-range smartphone boasts a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53), an Adreno 510 GPU, a 4GB DDR3 RAM and a 128GB of expandable internal storage.

Coming with Hybrid dual SIM (nano + nano/micro) card slots, the handset sports a 13MP front-facing camera with Sony sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size and soft selfie flash, a 13MP (monochrome) + 13MP (RGB) rear-facing cameras with Sony sensors, f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and 4K video recording, a fingerprint sensor, Infrared sensor, an FM radio and a 3200mAh battery w/ Quick Charge 3.0.

Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the Dual 5 provides 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C port for connectivity. The Micromax Dual 5 will be available from April 10th for Rs. 24,999 (about $385). [FoneArena]
