Micron Technology has recently unveiled their latest super-fast solid state drive series, the RealSSD C300. Designed specifically for notebook and desktop PCs, this new drive features Micron’s 34nm MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface and is able to provide read and write speeds of up to 355MB/s and 215MB/s, respectively. The RealSSD C300 will become available in the first quarter of 2010 in 1.8-inch and 2.5-inch form factors, with both drives supporting 128GB and 256GB capacities.
