Some scientists at Microsoft Research have successfully combined the standard capabilities of a computer mouse with multi-touch sensing technology. Dubbed as the Mouse 2.0, these multi-touch computer mice consist of several multi-touch mouse implementations including the Arty Mouse, Cap Mouse, FTIR Mouse, Orb Mouse and Side Mouse.
