
Microsoft has released Windows Vista operating system and Office 2007. In retail, Windows Vista is available in different versions such as Home Basic ($199, upgrade $99), Home Premium ($239, upgrade $159), Vista Business ($299, upgrade $199) and Windows Vista Ultimate ($399, upgrade $259).
You can get the 64-bit version of Windows Vista by purchasing the Windows Vista Ultimate edition. Gamers can’t expect much from Windows Vista, since there is no game title that is compatible with DirectX 10 yet. Crysis, the highly anticipated DirectX 10 title, is still at least 6 months away.
In addition, Microsoft Office 2007 is now available in five versions and corresponding upgrades, with prices range from $149 to $679.
