Japan based Mitac comes back with the new portable navigation gadget for motorcycle riders. Dubbed as the Mio C523 V2, the gadget offers “a rider mode” function that indicates directions to follow at multiple intersections on a single screen using arrows. Mitac Japan also announced that the time spent looking at the display will be shorter because riders can check only the directions to follow even while riding a motorcycle. The Mio C523 V2 retails for around $450. Other features include a 1-Seg TV tuner, a 4.3 inch touchscreen LCD display, Windows CE OS, and a SiRF Technology GPS chipset. Mitac Japan will manufacture the PND at its plant in Kunshan, Jiangsu, China. [TechOn]
