Mitsubishi 65-inch LaserVue Rear Projection 1080p TV

Mitsubishi’s 65-inch LaserVue 1080p rear-projection HDTV is priced at a hefty $7,000.The TV will be released later this month. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing for its 73-inch version. As a reminder, the LaserVue is a laser-based HDTV, which uses an array of red, green, and blue lasers to project its image onto the screen. According to Mitsubishi, this HDTV provides a color gamut over 200% NTSC standard, and consumes less than 200 watts. [CruchGear]

I think that mitsubishi has done a wonderful job getting this laser tv technology out to the rest of the world. I believe that the price will come down naturally from competition. For those who are counting thier pennies and just cant afford one, I say just wait a few years. But for those who have the money, I say you should definately get one. This new tv is going to be the best investment people could want for thier home entertainment centers.
