Mitsubishi has unveiled a two parts wireless HDTV system. The system will comprise of a very thin LCD screen (approx.1.5 inch), and then a separate Blu-ray optical drive box that also sends out the wireless signals to the TV. The Mitsubishi HDTV will incorporate AMIMON’s wireless technology, capable of delivering uncompressed HD video streams wirelessly. The wireless HDTV will enable flexible placement of HD source devices such as AVRs, DVRs, DVD players, set-top boxes (STBs) and game consoles anywhere within the room and throughout the home.
