As we mentioned before, NetGear has finally released its new ReadyNAS Pro range of network attached storage (NAS) devices, which are targeted to both small and medium business users. Available in 1.5TB, 3TB and 6TB storage capacities, these models connect to users via a local or wireless network for storage, back ups and data sharing purposes and support Windows, Mac or Linux operating system. These network attached storage also support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, NetGear’s proprietary auto-expandable X-RAID2 configuration, system monitoring, built-in backup capability, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and the ability to hold up to half a dozen SATA II drives and hot-swappable disk trays.
