Here’s the latest nForce 980a based motherboard from MSI, the NF980-G65. This new ATX board adopts the APS (Active Phase Switching) power saving technology and features a 4+1 phase power design, four DDR3-2133 memory slots, three PCI-Express x16 slots backed by an NF200 chip to support 3-way SLI technology and supports AM3 processors. In addition, it also comes with a 7.1 channel audio, the Easy OC Switch and several connectivity ports including FireWire, six SATA 3.0 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. The MSI NF980-G65 will retail for 140 Euro (about $200).
