MTV (Viacom) together with UK based Mini Media Europe Limited has launched MTV branded MP3 players in Europe. The Pimp My Ride branded MIVI-P1GB is able to play WMA files and has 1 GB of internal storage. Other features include SD slot, FM radio and a voice recorder. This MP2 Player requires one AAA battery which can play approximately 12 hours of music playback. Another version of this MP3 Player, the MIVI-P1GBV1, features a 1.5 inch color STN display which is capable for playing video files. The MTV branded MP3 players are scheduled to be launched in September 2006.
