
Nanovision of Korea has released a new 7 inch mini-widescreen display that features a 800 x 480 resolution and can be rotated to view the image in either landscape or portrait modes. The monitor connects to your PC via USB 2.0 port. The Nanovision UM-710 model is the entry level version while the UM-750 comes with touch screen capability, an integrated webcam and DMB TV tuner. The UM-710 and UM-750 are currently available in Korea for $78 and $147, respectively. [technabob]

as a designer i’m actually quite surprised at how practical my mimo um-740 is. i bought it as a lavish gadget for my desktop but i now find it really useful to store my Photoshop palettes and select them by touching them.
