
Navicore has announced the availability of its Nokia 770 GPS add-on kit, which includes Navicore Personal 2007, a Bluetooth GPS unit, and car-mount device. Available in Q4 2006 with the price tag of US$245, Navicore’s new GPS receiver measures 6.4cm x 2.2cm x 1.5cm, which makes it the world’s smallest Bluetooth GPS receiver. It is about half the width and height of its predecessor. In addition, the device uses SiRF’s SiRFstar III GPS chip and incorporates a rechargeable battery that’s good for eight hours’ usage, the company claimed
