
NEC unveiled the powerful 17-inch pro-media NEC VERSA P9110 notebook, which is ideal for sophisticated AV home entertainment demand and graphic intensive business users with impressive features to keep up with the high definition (HD) trend. The laptop comes equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Vista Home Premium / Ultimate, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, between 160GB and 250GB of hard drive space, 7.1-channel audio, NVIDIA’s GeForce 8400M GS, a 56k modem for connecting up in dire situations, and a built-in mic. Furthermore, you will get a dual-layer DVD burner, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, an ExpressCard slot, three USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire connector, VGA / HDMI outputs, a four-in-one multicard reader, 1.3MP shooter, WXGA+ widescreen panel, and a built-in “subwoofer” to compliment the four speakers.
