NEC has two new MULTEOS LCD HDTVs, which are available in two versions. The 40-inch M40 sells for US$5820 and 46-inch M46 sells for US$8002. They offer 1920 x 1080 full-HD native resolution, 1000:1 (M40) / 1200:1 (M46) contrast ratio, 450cd/m2 brightness, HDMI port, and a 178-degree viewing angle. Both models will be released in Japan on Jan. 31, 2007.
