NEC has also unveiled their newest 10.1-inch Windows 10 tablet, the TW710/CAS. As part of the ‘LAVIE Tab W’ series, this mid-end tablet has a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 WUXGA display (digitizer pen input support), a 1.60GHz Intel Atom x7-Z8750 processor, a 4GB RAM and a 64GB eMMC.
Measuring 9.1mm thick and weighing 597 grams, the tablet sports a 1.2MP front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a microSD card slot, 1x USB 3.0 port, 1x micro-HDMI output port and an 11.5-hour battery.
Running on Windows 10 Home OS (w/ Office Mobile plus Office 365 service), the TW710/CAS provides WiFi 802.11ac 2×2-enabled wireless LAN and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity. The NEC TW710/CAS will begin shipping from June 9th for around 71,800 Yen (about $659). [NEC]
