NETGEAR has just unveiled a new tri-band WiFi 802.11ad router ‘Nighthawk X10 R9000’ to its range. Powered by a powerful 1.7GHz quad-core processor coupled with a 1GB RAM, the Nighthawk X10 R9000 can operate at a combined speed of up to 7.2Gbps, with one 60GHz band that reaches up to 4600Mbps, one 5GHz band that reaches up to 1733Mbps and one 2.4GHz band that reaches up to 800Mbps.

Equipped with four external antennas (w/ active antenna technology, MU-MIMO technology and beam-forming technology), the Nighthawk X10 R9000 is built with 1x 10G Ethernet SFP+ port, 6x Gigabit Ethernet ports (w/ 2 ports support link aggregation) and 2x USB 3.0 ports to easily share printers, files and media within the network.

The NETGEAR Nighthawk X10 R9000 is scheduled to hit the market from June 9th for 57,800 Yen (about $507). [Product Page]
