New Mobile Anti-theft System a Scream

There is a new technology that allows you to scream along with your phone when it gets stolen. This technology sounds crazy but useful. A new service has been launched today that can determine when a mobile phone gets snatched and instantly start screaming. The loud noise will stop if the battery is removed. However, if the thief replaces the phone’s SIM card, the handset will not work. All customers’ information is centrally stored, so contacts, ringtones, pictures, texts and other data can be retrieved when a new handset is purchased. Mark Whiteman the managing director of Remote XT, said that the goal of the service is to make mobile phones useless to anyone but the rightful owner. The service costs about US$18 a month.
