New Point and Shoot FX180 With Huge Pixels From Panasonic

by Stephen on August 25, 2008 · 0 comments

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX180

Panasonic has recently introduced the Lumix DMC-FX180, sequel to the FX100. FX180 features a 1/1.72-inch CCD with ultra-high, 14.7-megapixel resolution. The clean, subtle front view makes this point-and-shoot camera appear modestly low profiled, despite its wire range of features. FX180 also introduces Venus Engine IV that helps render exquisitely beautiful images even in burst mode or when shooting in low lighting. For advanced users, the point-and-shoot has a manual mode which allows overriding of the exposure settings. It is also equipped with a 2.7 inch LCD and has a high ISO of 1600, and available in Silver, Black and Brown. Currently price and availability are still TBD. [Panasonic VIA Upcoming Digital Cameras]
