New Visioneer today introduced a portable and multi-functional mobile scanner in the form of the Strobe 500. It is a new mobile duplex scanner that comes equipped with a docking station developed for Windows and Mac. This color scanner features a 20 page automatic document feeder and scans at 15 ppm/ 30 ipm. The front feed slot accepts documents in letter/legal A4 size photos, receipts and plastic ID cards. The Strobe 500 will be available on November 20th, 2009 for $399. [Press Release]
