NTT DoCoMo Bone-Conduction Headset Sound Leaf

NTT DoCoMo will start to sell their first Bone-Conduction Headset, Sound Leaf, which uses bone vibration in the skull to transmit sound to the auditory apparatus. The Sound Leaf connects to NTT DoCoMO’s FOMA handset via the wire connection. It measures 115 mm x 30 mm x 26.5 mm and weights 52 grams. Using 2 AAA batteries, you can use it as long as 25 hours of talk time. The headset also allows you to hear clearly in a very noisy environment. NTT DoCoMO plans to sell it at around US$85.
