NVIDIA Outs SHIELD tablet K1 Powered By NVIDIA Tegra K1 Processor

NVIDIA is bringing you their newest gaming tablet, the SHIELD tablet K1. Powered by a 2.20GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, this high-performance gaming tablet is packed with an 8.0-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS multi-touch display, a 192-core NVIDIA Kepler GPU, a 2GB RAM and a 16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB).


Coming with front-facing stereo speakers (w/ built-in microphone), the tablet sports a 5MP front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing camera, 9-axis (gyro, accelerometer, compass) motion sensors, a micro-USB 2.0 port, a mini-HDMI port and a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack.

Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS (upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow), the SHIELD tablet K1 provides WiFi 802.11n 2×2 Mimo (2.4GHz & 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 + LE and GPS / GLONASS for connectivity.
