Olympus PEN-F Compact System Camera Announced

Here comes a new compact system camera from Olympus, the PEN-F. This mirrorless Micro Four Thirds camera is built with a 20.3MP Live MOS sensor, a 2.36m-dot OLED Electronic Viewfinder, a 3.0″ 1.037m-dot Vari-Angle touchscreen display, Olympus’ TruePic VII image processor, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, a micro-HDMI port and built-in WiFi connectivity.

Other highlights include 5-Axis In-Body Image Stabilization, ISO 25600, 10fps Shooting, 50MP High-Res Shot Mode, Creative Dial and Color/Monochrome Profiles.

In terms of video recording, the PEN-F can record 1080p Full HD video at 60fps (52Mbps). Coming in black and silver color options, the Olympus PEN-F will go on sale from February 26th for $1,199 (Body Only). [Press Release]
