by Isaiah on April 13, 2015

Olympus has once again expanded its line of rugged digital cameras by unveiling the Stylus Tough TG-4. This waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, crushproof and dustproof camera packs a 16MP 1/2.3-inch CMOS image sensor, a 4x wide optical zoom lens (25-100mm), a 3.0-inch 460k-dot LCD monitor, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, a micro-HDMI port, GPS and built-in WiFi connectivity.

Other prominent features include an advanced four-mode Variable Macro system (Microscope, Microscope Control, Focus Bracketing and Focus Stacking) that covers a 29-cm range – starting at 30 cm from the subject and zooming in to just 1 cm away, slow-synchronize flash which enhances contrasts and prevents potential over-exposure when you’re very close to the subject, and RAW file support.

The Olympus Stylus Tough TG-4 will be available from May for $379.99. [Product Page]
