Onkyo today launched its brand new high-end speaker set for PC that adopts Onkyo’s VL Digital Technology to produce high-quality sound. Dubbed as the Onkyo GX-500HD, this speaker set provides 2 x 40 Watts and works on a 50Hz to 100kHz. The Onkyo GX-500HD will be released in Japan next week for 49800 Yen or around €380. [Akihabara]

I guess I ll have to sacrifice the BASS
Alex, don’t high end speakers usually have better low level bass than most?
I guess this is not a isse for this one, because the onkyo wavio speakers have a subwoofer output.
But the real high end usually are connected to the subwoofer outputs, not the reverse as in this case. Anyway, I have another Onkyo model and it’s sound better than those edifier and logitech things.
