Optima OP5-E MID With Maemo Linux OS

Optima will release a competitor to the Nokia N810 Internet tablet in the form of the OP5-E MID. The gadget is currently undergoing one last round of software tests before launch. Measuring 143mm x 74mm x 17.6mm, the OP5-E MID is powered by a 806MHz Marvell PXA320 CPU, a 128MB RAM, a 256MB ROM, a microSD memory card slot, a 3.2-megapixel shooter, a 4.3-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen display, Built-in 3G connectivity, Maemo Linux OS, GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.0. Its 2600mAh li-polymer battery provides up to 8-hour of operation time. No word on pricing or availability so far. [Optima China]
