Panasonic has also announced a new 10000:1 Contrast Ratio Plasma TV available in 42-inch and 50-inch display. Sony also recently announced a similar product. The 42-inch Panasonic TH-42PX60U will retail for about $2500 US and 50-inch Panasonic TH-50PX60U will retail for about $3500 US. Info via Engadget.
