Panasonic presents their very first rearview monitor system with a camera and a monitor. You wont need a separate navigation system anymore because it comes with that as well 3.5 inch monitor with 320 × 240 effective pixels with two image input terminals, one for the camera and one for other electronic devices. When you shift lever to a reverse position, the system can show a rear view of the vehicle, rearview camera is a 1/4-inch color CCD camera with 250,000 effective pixels. The detection angles of the camera are 134° in a horizontal direction and 103° in a vertical direction. The Panasonic Rearview Monitor will be available in Japan on December 17th for $356.
