Panasonic and Sanyo have partnered to create a Lithium-ion battery that would be powerful enough to store enough energy to run a household for a week. They will launch this device in 2011. This lithium-ion battery will be better than the existing fuel cells which are considered as efficient power storage for home use. The battery will be paired with a system that allows users to monitor electricity usage on their household. Stay tuned for more updates. [Greenlaunches]

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you today as President and Founder of Greenwave Energy Technologies, LLC in Louisville, KY. Our company is developing a Energy Usage Dashboard for homes to monitor home energy consumption for Smart Appliances, Smart Outlets, Smart Meters and hopefully this Battery. Is there any way we can get a battery to conduct tests with. We feel the home battery you are developing could be the game changer for our small company!
You can call me at 502-807-7121. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
