Pandigital Portable Photo Printer With Zero Ink Technology

Pandigital in collaboration with ZINK Imaging have announced their new Portable Photo Printer that uses ZINK Zero Ink Printing Technology. Unlike regular printers, this particular printer requires no ink cartridges or ribbons, instead it uses ZINK photo paper covered with heat-activated crystals. The printer itself can produce 4×6-inch borderless full color images and features a small LCD display for previewing the images, a memory card slot and a USB port. The Pandigital Portable Photo Printer is now available for purchase for a retail price of $149.99 (with paper at $39.99).

I’d never thought we’d see the return of thermal printers, takes me back to the old 8-bit days with the printers for the ZX Spectrum etc
