Pentax will release its rugged point-and-shoot camera next month. Known as the Optio W80, the camera is waterproof up to 16 feet underwater, works in 14 degree weather, and will survive drops from 3.3 feet. Available in Cardinal Red, Azure Blue and Gunmetal Gray, the Pentax Optio W80 will be released in July for $300 each. Pentax also provides a custom designed clear protective skin for $16.95 along with a comfortable floating wrist strap for $19.95. [Gizmodo via Digital Camera Blog]
