Pentax will release K-7 in the Japanese market in the end of June this year. It is a lens-interchangeable digital SLR camera that has a wide array of advanced functions and user-friendly features. The K-7 features a 14.6 effective megapixels, a high-speed movie data transmission, and a newly developed PRIME (PENTAX Real Image Engine) II that provides greater data-processing speed and produces better-quality images with richer gradation and more accurate color rendition. The Pentax K-7 DSLR will be available for around 130,000($1,371) Yen and 140,000 Yen($1,477). [AVING via Digital Camera Blog]
