Net TV

Pretty soon we all can enjoy surfing the net through our TV screens, this is made possible with the new Net TV series from Philips, the 8000 and 9000 series which include built in internet access connections. Using their remote, users are able to browse the net with a number of websites and services tailored and enhanced specifically to view through their TV. These include websites such as YouTube, TomTom, eBay, MeteoGroup, Funspot, MyAlbum and Netlog. The only difference between the two series is: the 8000 series will require a wired connection as for the 9000 series will support Wi-Fi connection. Net TV is due to go live in April. [Pocket-Lint]
