Philips has once again expanded its line of Full HD monitors by announcing the BDM4001FW/11. Consuming just 58W during normal operation or 24.12W in ECO model, this new 40-inch MVA LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 5000:1 contrast ratio (20,000,000:1 SmartContrast), 280 cd/m2 brightness, 3ms (GTG) responses time and 176/176 degree viewing angles.
Furthermore, the BDM4001FW/11 utilizes Philips’ advanced technologies including SmartContrast – to fine-tune the deep black level and SmartImage – to optimize the image settings, and comes with 1x D-Sub and 1x DVI-D input ports. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet. [Product Page]
