Philips READUS Video

by Johan on August 28, 2006

The Philips READUS is the world’s first prototype of a functional electronic-document reader which can unroll its display to a scale larger than the device itself. It is a 5-inch QVGA (320 pixels x 240 pixels) monochrome display with four gray levels that provides paper-like viewing comfort with a high contrast ratio for reading-intensive applications, including text, graphics, and electronic maps. READIUS is a trademark belonging to Koninklijke Philips. Watch the video presentation for more details.
