PhotoFast has announced a new series of 1.8-inch SSDs by unveiling the G-Monster V4. Coming in capacities ranging from 32GB to 256GB, these drives are available in three different versions, either with 40-pin ZIF, 44-pin IDE or 50-pin IDE connection interface. They also feature MLC NAND flash memory chips, a 64MB of cache memory, an active garbage collection function and provide read and write speeds of up to 128MB/s and 90MB/s, respectively. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. [Softpedia]
